Mattia Peretti

Mattia is counsel of the firm since 2023. Before joining Gitti and Partners Mattia worked for more than 15 years first as an associate and then as a partner in a leading Italian law firm, gaining significant experience in commercial and extraordinary transactions.

He is involved on a daily basis in transactions and assistance to clients, both domestic and international, with particular focus in the renewable energy and real estate sectors. Mattia assists leading groups and operators with reference to all types of transactions, both seller side and buyer side, as well as in the preparation and negotiation of operational and extraordinary contracts, even of considerable complexity, in the relevant sectors, and in projects characterized by strong innovativeness.

Mattia has also gained significant litigation experience, including domestic and international arbitrations, in commercial and sports law, and has been appointed as sole arbitrator and as Chairman of Arbitration Boards in regulated and unregulated arbitrations.

He holds a law degree from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi (2007). Diploma in Comparative Law (First Cycle) from Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III), Faculté Internationale de Droit Comparé (2006). Training course "Arbitration: fundamentals and techniques" at Camera Arbitrale di Milano (2015). Advanced course in Sports Law and Sports Justice "Lucio Colantuoni" (2021).

Mattia is fluent in Italian and English.
