Luigi Colaleo
Luigi works as a junior associate in the Energy department of the Firm, providing extrajudicial assistance to companies operating in the energy sector in relation to financing transactions of a project financing nature and the related activities and contracts, including notarial and non-notarial guarantees and waiver requests; merger and acquisition transactions, as well as negotiation and drafting of shareholders agreements and joint venture agreements; negotiation and drafting of construction and project contracts.
In addition, he provides assistance in drafting minutes of corporate bodies, PoAs, legal opinions on status and capacity and in the analysis of the regulations applicable to the energy sector, as well as in the assessment on the applicability of the Golden Power regulation.
He graduated cum laude and special mention from LUISS Guido Carli in 2023, discussing a dissertation in European Business Law entitled "Rationales Behind Public-to-Private Transactions: Compliance Cost As A Driving Factor".
During his academic career, Luigi also had the opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad at Leiden Universiteit, in the Netherlands.
Before joining Gitti and Partners, Luigi cooperated with the Energy department of primary Italian law firms.
Luigi is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish.
