Diego De Francesco
Diego is partner of the Firm.
He has consolidated a relevant experience in the field of international taxation and cross border transactions, in relation to which he assists Corporate and Private clients. In particular, he specializes in M&A and Private Equity, assisting major investment funds operating in Italy.
His expertise focuses on the structuring of investments, management and monitoring, as well as divestments (exit).
Diego specializes also on debt restructuring as well as corporate turnaround transactions.
Diego has been a partner of CBA Studio Legale (formerly Camozzi Bonissoni) since 2005, which he joined in 1999, after having worked for an international law firm.
In 2021 Diego has been shortlisted in the We Wealth Talents Club amongst the 200 best Italian top managers, lawyers and advisors.
Diego has been mentioned in The Legal 500 2020 Edition as "a Tax key name to note".
In 2020 Diego has been shortlisted as “Lawyer of the year” in the Private Equity and M&A and Special Transactions practices for the LegalCommunity “Tax Awards”.
Diego graduated from Bocconi University (Milan) and is a tax advisor (Dottore Commercialista) and chartered accountant (Revisore dei Conti).
Diego speaks fluent Italian, English and French.
